It started with a January realization: being an artist is sometimes… lonely. It’s a beautiful thing to turn your creativity into your job, but often when you do you end up isolated, comparing yourself to other artists instead of collaborating with them, and losing the spark that made you want to create in the first place. No artist is alone in this feeling - so we decided to host our first ever creative retreat. A desert escape at the end of winter, to build creative community and remember why we love what we do.

We had no idea who’d be crazy enough to join us, and we had no idea what magic lay ahead. It was one of those moments where everything felt so insane, like such an immense risk, that it all fell into place perfectly.

Eight artists, designers, musicians and illustrators from across the United States gathered to giggle under the stars, explore their creativity, and bond as a group. We even collaborated on a spontaneous mural… watch our (semi-viral) video about it here.
